5-0 in 2010 women's FIBA
3-1 in 2011 women's FIBA U19
Los Angeles at Tulsa
Sunday WNBA
pick: LA -2 (1st Quarter)
Taking on chance on playing against Tulsa at home. They are 0-11 ATS on the road in the first quarter and play on the road later this week. However, they have fallen behind at home in the last four games. Here are the results of the last 5 at home.
Indiana, down 22-12
Seattle, down 23-16
Chicago, down 18-15
Atlanta, down 20-12
Los Angeles, led 23-21
The last time Tulsa led after one period was vs. this LA Sparks team. LA was without Candace Parker and now they have her. LA played at Minnesota last night and lost badly. They shot 48% from the field but led 20-14 after one quarter. They were outrebounded by close to 20 and now head to Tulsa to play on Sunday.
They go from playing the best team in the WNBA to the worst team. Tulsa has been off since last weekend and do have some talent in Liz Cambage and Tiffany Jackson. Amber Holt and Ivory Latta have struggled as this team shoots just 38% from the field and allows 48% FG. The Tulsa Shock seem to start slowly. LA played last night and may have a letdown or they can woman up and jump ahead early.
Parker played well last night but the others need to play well. Tisha Penicheiro is a good point guard who looks to pass most of the time. Hopefully, she can score a few points early to go with Thompson and the other veterans on the Sparks.
